Effective Business Writing and Email
Good writing increases credibility, cooperation and productivity, while less-than-good writing can cause confusion and delay. In this workshop, participants will learn to improve the clarity and conciseness of their emails, reports and other documents; structure their writing in a way that drives action and gets buy-in; find the right tone; and get better outcomes by writing with the audience in mind.
3 hours
Individual contributors and managers who want to enhance their writing skills. 15 participants maximum. The small class size ensures individual attention, and sufficient time to write and collaborate as a group.
Learning Objectives
  • Plan and draft documents with more focus and less stress.
  • Analyze a reader’s point of view to gain greater cooperation.
  • Write clear subject lines that prompt efficient responses.
